Meet the game, learn the rules, practice climbs and tunnels, meet a safely protected rat, and complete a first search.

When: Intro sessions are formed as needed.
Where: The tan barn beyond the agility field.

Work an Open-level or higher course with a Novice tunnel available, adjusted to your dog’s current experience.

When: Current practice times are shown on the destination page.
Where: The tan barn beyond the agility field.
Cost: $20 per dog.

Join a Practice

4–6 dogs.

Agility Foundation 1

Build the first handling and teamwork skills that make agility understandable, safe, and fun.

When: Monday evenings, 6:00–7:30 p.m.; five-week session.
Where: Sports Paws agility field.
Cost: $125 per dog.
Status: 4–6 dogs.

Join Foundation 1

4–6 dogs.

Agility Foundation 2

Add contact obstacles and weave-pole foundations while continuing jumps, tunnels, handling, and short sequences.

When: Monday evenings, 6:00–7:30 p.m.; seven-week session.
Where: Sports Paws agility field.
Cost: $175 per dog.
Status: 4–6 dogs.

Agility Practice

Work a Novice/Open-level course, choose the challenges that fit your team, and get help with trial entry, handling, and game rules.

When: Most Monday daytimes, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, and selected Saturday mornings.
Where: Fully enclosed outdoor sand arena, weather permitting.
Cost: $25 per class.

Find a Practice

Nosework Foundations

Help your dog build drive, confidence, and independent search skills while you learn to read body language and solve new scent puzzles together.

When: Six-class series; dogs search one at a time.
Where: Sports Paws indoor search spaces.
Cost: $195 per dog.
Status: Small-group series.

Nosework Drop-In

Work more complex odor puzzles tailored to the experience and needs of the dogs in the class.

A welcoming entry point for beginning dogs and handlers to experience the rhythm, rules, check-in, and ring skills of an AKC agility event.
